Edetur mundo pauper, 
qui cuncta silenti rex erit imperio.

The European Oracle

Language: English after the Latin

From a virgin's body will come the pure eternal word.
He who will cross valleys & high mountains,
Sent willingly indeed from starry Olympus (Heaven) 
will be given to the world as a poor man,
He who with silent power will be king of everything.
Thus I believe and shall myself say:
He is born of both human and divine seed.

Translator's note for line 5: if the original text is 'rex erit', this line can stand as is; but (less likely) if it is in fact 'rexerit', the translated line should become "He who will have ruled everything with silent power"
