by Ozef Kalda (1871 - 1921)

Bože dálný, nesmrtelný
Language: Czech (Čeština)
Alto:
 Bože dálný, nesmrtelný,
 proč's cigánu život dal?
 By bez cíle blúdil světem,
štván byl jenom dál a dál?
 Rozmilý Janíčku,
 čuješ-li skřivánky?
 Přisedni si přeca podlevá cigánky!

Women's chorus:
 Smutná pešnička srdcem hýbala.

Alto:
 Bože mocný! Milosrdný!
 Než v pustém světě zahynu,
daj mi poznat, daj mi cítit!

Women's chorus:
 Smutná pěsnička srdcem hýbala.

Alto:
Pořád tady enom jak solný slp stojíš,
všecko mi připadá, že sa ty mne bojíš.
Přisedni si blížej, ne tak zpovzdaleka,
či t'a moja barva preca enom laká?
Nejsu já tak černá jak sa ti uzdává,
gde nemože slnce, jinší je postava!

Women's chorus:
 Košulku na prsoch
 krapečku shrnula,
 jemu sa všecka krev
 do hlavy vhrnula.
