't Meisken hoorde: '[Goeden dag!]3' zeggen, zoetjes, zoetjes: 'Mietje!' 't Meisken ommezag ... Op zijn' bloote voetjes viel de melk en, vol verdriet, wie [dat 't was]4 en wist het niet. Meiske, meiske, meiske snel, op uw' bloote voetjes, melk aan 't dragen, wacht u wel: zoetjes, zoetjes, zoetjes, mijdt u, [meiske]5, en, hoort gij iet, vóór u, maar niet omme en ziet!
