Aber deine Lippen sind schwer, 
Meine Wunder erlösen sie nicht. 
 
Hebe doch deine Schneehimmel 
Von meiner Seele -- 
 
Deine diamantnen Träume 
Schneiden meine Adern auf. 
 
Ich bin Joseph und trage einen süßen Gürtel 
Um meine bunte Haut. 
 
Dich beglückt das erschrockene Rauschen
