Als er deinen Keim erweckte, mein geliebtes Leben.
Unter seinem blausten Himmel, seinem wärmsten Sterne
Ließ er deine Krone wachsen mit dem edlen Kerne.
Sollt' ich ihn verklagen, daß er unsre Hände trennte?
Preisen will ich ihn, daß er uns doch so Holdes gönnte:
Daß er dir der Schönheit Fülle gab auf Stirn und Brauen
Und zwei sel'ge Augen mir, dich dankbar anzuschauen.
