Io t'amo, tu il conosci, ed ella il vede,
ma piú mi strazia e mi trafigge il core,
e per piú mio dolore
e per dispregio tuo, non mi dà fede.
Non sostener, Amor, che nel tuo regno
là dov'io ho sparta fede mieta sdegno,
ma fa, giusto signore,
ch'in premio dell'amor io colga amore.
