Je croy qu'onques creature humaine
N'eut tel bien, certes, come j'avoie,
Car sanz doulour et sanz pensee vaine
Mon cuer estoyt rempli de toute joye.

Et a bon droit, quar, quant a vous pensoye,
Tres playsant flour, douce rose mondayne,
Garde d'amours qui mon cuer trait et maine,
Autre plaisir au monde ne vouloie.
