Ungesäumt erlösche mir Meines Lebens Funke, Giebt es einen bessern Ort Als die Weinspelunke. Hier herein im Sturme flieht Nachtigall und Taube; Dorten in der Zelle duckt Schlange, Molch und Unke. -- Traue keinem Heiligen! Süße Worte spricht er; Aber in der Kutte steckt Immer ein Halunke. Nicht der Inspiration Rasende Geberde, Nicht ein heilig Fabelbuch, Nicht ein alter Schunke, -- Aechte Revelation Lehret dich der Becher, Lehret dich Hafisens Mund, Aufgethan im Trunke.
