The little word "You"
Language: English  after the Alemannic
"You" is a lovely word for sure
as no other word is more to the benefit of love,
especially when spoken at a cosy and secret place
and when coming from the heart.
"You and You" prevails everywhere and whenever
love performs its miracles;
and God's abundant blessing
is in the words, "I love you".

Look, all worries have been over
since your image is in my heart
for you are mine at night and in the morning,
you are my day, my sun and my moon.
The light of heaven is in your eyes
and that of the most beautiful stars,
you would be good for being an angel
and for sure you would be a good one.

"You and You" with you on earth,
my dearest, I am so happy;
it may be good for you to become an angel
yet, I like you better that way!
That my heart and my life
are full of joy and happiness and peace,
my dearest, results from
that one and bonny boy.
