Sid ikke i Skyggen af kolde Aar 
og vaag over döde Minder,
spring ud, spring ud i den stærke Dag,
som luer af Mod, naar den rinder.

Og hvis du er rig, da er Livet rigt,
da synger det dig imöde;
thi du er Livet, spring ud og lad 
de döde begrave de döde. 

Der slöses med Kræfter i Vaarens Storm,
der favnes i unge Dage,
og vi er Guder, Guder paa Jord, 
som leende tramper de svage.

Vi kjender ei Had, vi kjender ei Nag,
ei Frygt eller daadlös Anger,
og Jorderig er vort skjönne Hjem 
og Solen vor himmelske Sanger.

Vor himmelske Sanger, vi fölger dig 
til Sommer og fjerne Fester:

On gaspille ses forces dans la tempête du printemps,
on s'embrasse aux nouveaux jours,
et nous sommes des dieux, des dieux sur la terre
qui en riant piétinent les faibles.

Nous ne connaissons ni la haine, ni le remords,
