Flieg' aus, mein Lied, und tausend Mal Grüß mir mein stilles Felsenthal! Nun grünt und blüht es wieder, Und von der Höhn Wie blickt so schön Und frisch der Wald hernieder! Ihr lieben Vögel, denkt ihr dran, Wie wir das Thal hinab, hinan Zusammen einst gesungen, Wie von den Flühn Durch all das Blühn Das frohe Lied erklungen! Ihr weißen Bäume, wißt ihr's noch, Wie ihr mit mir vom Felsenjoch Gegrüßt die fernsten Auen, Wie blitzend klar Und lustig war Im Grund der Bach zu schauen! Flieg' aus, mein Lied, und tausend Mal Grüß mir im Lenz mein trautes Thal, Und bring' ihm deinen Segen, Und thu's ihm kund, Wie sein allstund Ich denk' und allerwegen!
