Widzieli zdala obiecaną ziemię, 
Widzieli światło niebieskich promieni,
Ku którym w dole ciąnęło ich plemię,
A sami do tych nie wejdą przestrzeni! 
Do [życia godów]¹ nigdy nie zasiędą,
