El temps s’enfugí en un vol terbolinant i amb ell s’emportà el projecte de la vida. El viatge fou tempestuós, sovint penós i desplaent. Així passà a través de les edats, a través dels anys d’infantesa, el goig de la joventut, a través de les valls, on rauen les alegries que, pensívol, cerca l’esguard de la nostàlgia. Fins el lluminós tossal de l’amistat volà el temps, ara més suau, amb més calma, i allà finalment, en un dolç repòs, plegà les seves ales rabents.
