Lied de los ojos amados
Language: Spanish (Español)
Our translations:  ENG
Ojos dignos de sufrir
Por lo inmensos en querer,
Bajo el glorioso deber
De adorar hasta morir.

Ojos nunca tan amados
Como al implorar rendidos.
Ojos nunca más queridos
Que si se entregan llorados.

Pero aunque dicha sin par
Den así a mi alma doliente,
Amor, amor inclemente,
Nunca los hagas llorar.

Song of the Beloved Eyes
Language: English  after the Spanish (Español)
Eyes, worth [my] suffering
From the immensity of wanting [you],
[I will do my] glorious duty
Of worshiping [them] until [my] death.

Eyes never so beloved
As when surrendering [to my] imploring.
Eyes that have never been more desirable
Than when succumbing to tears.

But even if unparalleled bliss
Is given to my aching soul,
Love, tumultuous love,
Will never make those eyes weep.
