A nosaltres, infants nascuts al juliol ens agrada la flaire del blanc gessamí, caminem per jardins florits, silents i perduts en somnis profunds. La nostra germana és la rosella escarlata que flameja tremolant als camps de blat i al murs caldejats i que després el vent s’emporta els seus pètals. Com una nit de juliol, la nostra vida, carregada de somnis, vol finalitzar la seva ronda lliurant-se a somnis i fervents festes en acabar les messes, amb corones d’espigues i roselles vermelles a les mans.
