Wären wir zwei kleine Vögel
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Romanian (Română)
Our translations:  CAT
Wären wir zwei kleine Vögel,
Säßen wir zwei auf dem Dachessaum
Unterm Rinnsal, zärtlich schnäbelnd
In dem Nest von lauter Flaum?

Stächest du mir nicht die Augen
  Mit dem spitzen Schnäblein aus?
Oder säßest du ganz gelassen
  Neben mir im kleinen Haus?

Ja, ich seh' dich fast, Feinsliebchen,
  Wie du neckisch mir entfliegst
Und vom Zaun herüberäugelnd gar
  Kokett dein Köpfchen wiegst.

Ich, hoch oben auf dem Dache,
  Überströmt von Lieb' und Pein,
Mürrisch, mit gesträubten Federn
Stünd' ich da auf einem Bein.

Si fóssim dos petits ocells
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Si fóssim dos petits ocells,
estaríem tots dos al vorell de la teulada,
sota la canal, besotejant-nos tendrament
    en el niu de plomissol?

Em picaries als ulls
amb el teu petit bec punxegut?
O seuries tranquil•lament
al meu costat a la petita llar?

Sí, et veig gairebé, estimada,
    com tu, burleta, marxes volant
i des del tancat, tota coqueta,
    mous el teu caparró.

Jo, a dalt de la teulada,
    desbordant d’amor i de pena,
malhumorat, amb les plomes estarrufades,
    resto allà, damunt una cama.
