Spatz, Ratz, Katz
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT ENG
Auf dem Dache der Spatz,
In der Rinne die Ratz,
In der Luke die Katz,
Da saßen die Drei mit Sinnen
Und wußten nichts Rechts zu beginnen.

Schilp, schilp! sprach der Spatz,
Nimm in Acht dich, dicke Ratz!
Siehst du nicht die alte Katz?
Sie thut zwar, als ob sie schliefe,
Doch stille Wasser sind tiefe.

Habe Dank, kluger Spatz!
Rief die rauhe, graue Ratz,
Bin nicht bange vor der Katz,
Nach dir aber seh' ich sie schielen,
Sie möchte mit dir wohl spielen.

Was du denkst, dumme Ratz!
Ich kann fliegen, lacht' der Spatz
Und flog näher zu der Katz.
Er ließ in der Luke sich nieder
Und plusterte sein Gefieder.

Einen Satz macht die Katz,
Weg vom Platz ist die Ratz,
In der Tatz schreit der Spatz. --
Ihr Kinderchen, lasset euch lehren,
Vor eigener Thüre zu kehren.

Pardal, rata, gat
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
El pardal a la teulada,
la rata a la canal,
el gat a la claraboia,
estaven tots tres rumiant
i no sabien ben bé què emprendre.

Piu, piu! Digué el pardal,
alerta, tu, rata grassa!
No veus el gat vell?
Fa veure que dorm però
no te’n fiïs del seu aspecte mansuet.

Gràcies, tu, llest pardal!
Cridà la peluda rata grisa,
no tinc por del gat,
car veig que és a tu que ell cobeja,
li agradaria jugar amb tu.

Què penses tu, estúpida rata!
Jo puc volar, digué rient el pardal
i volà a prop del gat.
Es posà a la claraboia
i estarrufà el seu plomatge.

El gat va fer un salt,
la rata s’escapolí.
a les seves grapes xisclà el pardal. –
Vosaltres criatures, tingueu ben en compte,
no us poseu mai allà on no us demanen.
