Wie Blätter am Baum
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT ENG FRE ITA
Chor:
 Wie Blätter am Baum,
 Wie Blumen vergeh'n -
 Wie Blütenflaum
 Die Winde verweh'n.

 So geht vorbei
 Des Lebens Mai
 Eh' wir's denken,
 Deckt das Grab,
 Was das Leben
 Liebes gab!

Rose:
 Oh Schwester, tief beklagt!

Chor:
Wir werfen in dein frühes Grab
 Die Blumen betend still hinab.-

Totengräber:
 Sei dir die Erde leicht!

Chor:
Der Erde geben wir zurück Dich,
 uns're Hoffnung, unser Glück.

Rose:
 Schlumm're sanft!

Chor:
Schmerz ging mit uns ans Grab hinaus,
Schmerz geht mit uns ins Trauerhaus!

Rose:
 Ruh' sanft!

Com les fulles als arbres
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Cor:
Com les fulles als arbres,
com les flors es marceixen –
com el borrissol de les plantes
que s’emporta el vent.

Així passa
el mes de maig de la vida,
abans de què ens en fem càrrec,
la tomba cobreix
el que la vida
ha donat de bo!

La rosa:
Oh germana, profunda condolença!

Cor:
Espargim flors damunt la teva precoç sepultura
pregant en silenci.

L’enterrador:
Que la terra no et sigui feixuga!

Cor:
Et retornem a la terra,
tu que fores la nostra esperança, la nostra benaurança.

La rosa:
Descansa en pau!

Cor:
El dolor ens ha acompanyat fins a la tomba,
el dolor va amb nosaltres fins a la casa mortuòria!

La rosa:
Reposa en pau!
