was dem Dasein Reiz verleiht;

meine höchste Seligkeit.
An den Lippen der Geliebten,
diesem Becher wunderbar
wie kein zweiter mehr auf Erden,
möcht' ich schlürfen immerdar;
mich berauschen an dem Dufte,
der aus diesem Becher dringt,
gierig lauschen jedem Worte,
das aus diesem Becher klingt.

voller überird'scher Wonnen,
