damunt les flors de l’Elisi,
porta’l, oh geni, porta’l al teu servent assedegat!
Allà on Faó oblidà la cantatriu,
allà on Orfeu oblidà la seva Eurídice,
aboca el doll argentat de l’oblit!
Ah! Després, submergiré la teva imatge,
esquerpa mestressa, i els teus llavis somrients plens
de música del llaüt, els foscos bucles dels teus cabells,
i el tremolor del teu blanc pit,
