Amour archer d'une tirade ront
Language: French (Français)
Our translations:  ENG

Love the archer
Language: English  after the French (Français)
Love the Archer with a cannonade rips
a hundred wounds in me, and still she does not offer the comfort
Of a single [hope]1, that lady for whom I bear
My heart in my gaze, my feelings in my face.

From her Sun comes the ice which covers me
And it astounds me that my coldness is not killed
In the fire of an eye which, with so lively a flame
[Burns my heart with]2 a deep wound.

In such a state I see my life pine away
That my pining is keen to be yet weaker,
As my illness grows and my heart gives up;

But the sadness which is filling my soul
With [a vain hope]3, is that Love and my lady
Know of my illness, and yet are not bothered by it.
