Zu Meer und zu Land,
Keine Hütte, kein Zelt steht,
Für uns beide zu wohnen,
Denn wir sind aus den Zonen
Der Erde verbannt.

Ach mein Bruder, meine Wonne,
Mein Engel, mein Trost,
Laß uns scheiden von der Sonne
Und im Grabdunkel träumen,
Wie in lichteren Räumen
Wir oft uns gekost.
