Oben im Wolkenlosen
Kreiset der Sterne Lauf;
Doch unter Küssen und Kosen
Gehen hier unten Rosen,
Rosen und Lieder auf.

Durch ihre kleine Kammer geht
Und küßt von ihrem rothen Munde
Den letzten Laut vom Nachtgebet.
