Welle, daß den Wunden der bangen Seel' ich
  Trinke Genesung.1

Frühling kommt mit Duft und Gesang und Liebe,
Will wie sonst mir sinken ans Herz; doch schlägt ihm 
Nicht das Herz entgegen wie sonst. -- O Lethe! 
  Sende die Welle!
