llavors apareix lluminosa la teva estimada imatge,

Ara camines ben silent i dolça
pel camp i la plàcida vall,
i ai, la meva imatge que prest s’esvaeix, 
no se t’ha aparegut ni tan sols una vegada?

La imatge d’un home que recorre el món
ple d’enuig i desplaença,
vagarejant de llevant a ponent,
perquè ell t’ha de deixar.
