Und doch ist's Wahnsinn, zu hoffen Sie!
     ... 
Und dann, wie kann ich vergessen Sie,
  Ihr schönes, liebliches Wesen,
Den Blick, die freundliche Lippe, die!
  Viel lieber nimmer genesen!
