by Julius Karl Reinhold Sturm (1816 - 1896)

Allüberall in Feld und Hain
Language: German (Deutsch)
[Allüberall in Feld und Hain]1
Welch wundersüßes Klingen!
Waldvögelein, Waldvögelein,
Das muß ein großer Meister sein,
Der euch gelehrt zu singen!

Bald gaukeln, Schmetterlingen gleich,
Die Lieder auf und nieder,
Bald flüstern sie wie Rohr am Teich,
Bald tönt aus ihnen voll und weich
Des Waldes Rauschen wieder.

Waldvögelein, Waldvögelein
Mit nimmer müden Schwingen,
Das muß der Meister Frühling sein,
Der euch gelehrt, durch Feld und Hain
So wundersüß zu singen.
