Das Kinderspiel
(Sung text for setting by W. Mozart)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  DUT ENG FRE ITA
Wir Kinder, wir schmecken
Der Freuden recht viel,
Wir schäkern und necken,
Versteht sich im Spiel;
Wir lärmen und singen
Und rennen rundum,
Und hüpfen und springen
Im Grase herum.

 ...

Ei, seht doch, ihr Brüder,
Den Schmetterling da!
Wer wirft ihn uns nieder?
Doch schonet ihn ja!
Dort flattert noch einer,
Der ist wohl sein Freund,
O schlag' ihn ja keiner,
Weil jener sonst weint.

Wird dort nicht gesungen?
Wie herrlich das klingt!
Vortrefflich, ihr Jungen,
die Nachtigall singt.
Dort sitzt sie, dort oben
Im Apfelbaum, dort;
Wir wollen sie loben,
So fährt sie wohl fort.

 ...

Laßt Kränzchen uns winden,
Viel Blumen sind hier.
Wer Veilchen wird finden,
Empfängt was dafür.
Ein Mäulchen zur Gabe
Gibt Mutter, wohl zwei.
Juchheisa! Ich habe,
Ich hab' eins, juchhei!

Ach, geht sie schon unter,
Die Sonne, so früh?
Wir sind ja noch munter,
Ach, Sonne verzieh'!
Nun morgen, ihr Brüder,
Schlaft wohl, gute Nacht!
Ja, morgen wird wieder
Gespielt und gelacht.

Kinderspel
(Sung text translation for setting by W. Mozart)
 See original
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the German (Deutsch)
1. Wij kind’ren, wij maken
Plezier meestal wel,
Wij stoeien en plagen,
Dat snap je, in ‘t spel;
Wij roepen en zingen
En rennen in ‘t rond,
We huppen en springen
In ‘t gras op de grond.

 ...

4. Kijk daar eens, mijn broertjes,
Hoe ‘t vlindertje gaat!
Wie stopt er zijn toertjes?
Maar doe hem geen kwaad!
Daar vliegt nog een and’re ,
Vast zijn kameraad,
Laat niemand hem raken,
Dat-ie huilen niet gaat.

5. Wordt daar niet gezongen?
Hoe heerlijk dat klinkt!
Hoor, jongens, hoe prachtig
De nachtegaal zingt.
Daar zit hij, daar boven,
In d’ appelboom, hoor!
Wij zullen hem loven,
Dan gaat ie wel door.

 ...

8. Laat kransjes ons winden,
Van bloemen en zo.
Wie viooltjes kan vinden,
Die krijgt iets cadeau.
Een kusje of meer wel
Geeft moeder ons, ja.
Joechheisa! Ik heb er
Al eentje, hoera!

9. Ach, gaat zij nu onder,
De zon, al zo vlug?
Wij zijn nog zo wakker,
Ach zon, kom terug!
Nee, morgen pas, jongens,
Naar bed toe, slaap wel!
Ja, morgen is ‘r tijd weer
Voor lachen en spel.
