In vain do I wish to lament it to you!
The water-spring leaps, murmuring, from the rocks,
The overflowing heart knows not what to say.

  Every birdlet sings out its song
And love resounds from all the branches;
My love cannot manage a single word,
I can only love you and remain mute.
