Tiefe Glocke meines Glückes: 
Einmal noch zur Abendzeit
Singe von meinem Hügel
Einmal, einmal jenes Lied voll Seligkeit.
Tiefe Glocke meines Glücks!

Dem ich meine junge Stirne 
Lauschend einst empor gewandt,
Da ich noch auf hellen Wegen 
Schritt an meines Liebsten Hand.

Grave cloche de mon bonheur :
Encore une fois quand vient le soir,
Chante depuis de ma colline
Une fois, une fois ce chant empli de félicité

Vers lequel mon jeune visage
Un jour s'est tourné en prêtant l'oreille,
Alors que sur une route claire
Je marchais à la main de mon bien aimé.
