Io son venuta a farvi serenata,
Padron di casa, se contento siete.
So che ci avete una giovin garbata:
Dentro le vostre mura la tenete.
E se per sorte fosse addormentata
Questo da parte mia voi le direte:
Che ci è passato un suo caro servente,
Che giorno e notte la tiene in mente.
Tra giorno e notte son ventiquattr'ore;
E venticinque la tengo nel core.
