Wo ein treues Herze See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Der Müller.
Wo ein treues Herz
In Liebe vergeht,
Da welken die Liljen
Auf jedem Beet.
Wo ein treues Herz in Liebe vergeht,
Da muß in die Wolken
Der Vollmond gehn,
Damit seine Thränen
Die Menschen nicht sehn.
Wo ein treues Herz in Liebe vergeht,
Da halten die Englein
Die Augen sich zu,
Und schluchzen und singen
Die Seele zur Ruh'.
