Wenn die von einander scheiden,
So vergehen Laub und Gras.

If you could see my little eyes,
How they are red from weeping!
I am to go into a convent
And remain alone until death.
 
Two turtledoves as well are sitting
On a green branch yonder;
If they part ways,
Then the foliage and grass shall wither.
