Leise zieht durch mein Gemüt

Language: German (Deutsch)
Leise zieht durch mein Gemüth
Liebliches Geläute.
Klinge, kleines Frühlingslied,
Kling' hinaus in's Weite.
Kling' hinaus bis an das Haus,
Wo die Veilchen sprießen.
Wenn du eine Rose schaust,
Sag' ich lass' sie grüßen.
Note: modern German would change the spelling "Gemüth" to "Gemüt"
Composition:
Set to music by Max Zenger (1837 - 1911), "Leise zieht durch mein Gemüt", op. 11 no. 7

Un charmant carillon
Pénètre doucement mon cœur,
Sonne, petite chanson de printemps,
Sonne au loin là-bas.
Sonne jusqu'à la maison là-bas
Où les fleurs sortent,
Si tu vois une rose,
Porte-lui mon salut.
