De profundis clamavi
 (Sung text for setting by Josquin des Prez)
 See original
Language: Latin  after the Hebrew (עברית)
Our translations:  DUT FRE
1 Canticum graduum.
  De profundis clamavi ad te, Domine;
2 Domine, exaudi vocem meam.
  Fiant aures tuæ intendentes
  in vocem deprecationis meæ.
3 Si iniquitates observaveris,
  Domine, Domine, quis sustinebit?
4 Quia apud te propitiatio est;
  et propter legem tuam sustinui te, Domine.
  Sustinuit anima mea in verbo ejus:
5 Speravit anima mea in Domino.
6 A custodia matutina usque ad noctem,
  speret Israël in Domino.
7 Quia apud Dominum misericordia,
  et copiosa apud eum redemptio.
8 Et ipse redimet Israël
  ex omnibus iniquitatibus ejus.
Requiem aeternam dona eis Domine
et lux perpetua luceat eis.
Kyrie eleyson,
Christe eleyson,
Kyrie eleyson.
Pater noster.

Des profondeurs j'ai crié
 (Sung text translation for setting by Josquin des Prez)
 See original
Language: French (Français)  after the Latin
Des profondeurs j'ai crié vers toi, Seigneur ;
Seigneur, écoute ma voix.
Que tes oreilles soient attentives
À la voix de mes supplications.
Si tu tiens compte des iniquités, Seigneur,
Seigneur, qui sera retenu ?
Parce que près de toi il y a le pardon,
Et à cause de ta loi,
Je t'ai attendu, Seigneur ;
Mon âme s'est reposée sur sa parole,
mon âme a espéré en le Seigneur
De la garde matinale la jusqu'à la nuit.
Qu'Israël espère en le Seigneur,
Parce que près du Seigneur est la miséricorde,
Et avec lui la rédemption complète.
Et lui-même il rachètera Israël
de toutes ses iniquités.
