Wenn mir der stille Schlummer
Geschlossen die Augen kaum,
So schleicht das liebe Bild
Hinein in meinen Traum

Und mit dem Traum des Morgens
Zerrinnt es nimmermehr;
Dann trag' ich es im Herzen
Den ganzen Tag umher.
