Der Himmel hat keine Sterne so klar,
Das Meer so keine Korallen,
Wie mir ein Menschenaugenpaar
Und Menschenlippen gefallen.

Er wandert unter den Sternen dahin,
Er wandert über die Meere,
Er geht mir immer nur durch den Sinn,
Dem ich zu eigen gehöre!
