Auf einer Pappelspitze sitzt
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FRE
Auf einer Pappelspitze sitzt
ein Mann in Unterhosen,
pflückt Rosen
und seufzt die Sonne an.

"O, wie ist der Tiefsinn hoch!"
Also hört' ich Etwas munkeln,
das da saß im dunkeln
Mauseloch.

Darum ist der Tiefsinn so unendlich
unverständlich.

Profondeur d'esprit
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Il y a à la cime d'un peuplier
un homme assis en caleçon,
il cueille des roses
et adresse un soupir au soleil.

« Ô quelle profondeur d'esprit ! »
J'ai aussi entendu un quelque chose murmurer,
il est là assis dans le noir
dans un trou de souris.

Voilà pourquoi la profondeur d'esprit est infiniment
incompréhensible.
