Zvjozdy merknut i gasnut. V ogne oblaka. Belyj par po lugam rasstilajetsja. Po zerkal'noj vode, po kudrjam loznjaka Ot zari alyj svet razlivajetsja. Dremlet chutkij kamysh. Tish' — bezljud'e vokrug. Chut' primetna tropinka rosistaja. Kust zadenesh' plechom — na lico tebe vdrug S list'ev bryznet rosa serebristaja. Potjanul veterok, vodu morshchit-rjabit. Proneslis' utki s shumom i skrylisja. Daleko-daleko kolokol'chik zvenit. Rybaki v shalashe probudilisja, Snjali seti s shestov, vjosla k lodkam nesut… A vostok vsjo gorit-razgorajetsja. Ptichki solnyshka zhdut, ptichki pesni pojut, I stoit sebe les, ulybajetsja. Vot i solnce vstajot, iz-za pashen blestit, Za morjami nochleg svoj pokinulo, Na polja, na luga, na makushki rakit Zolotymi potokami khlynulo. Jedet pakhar' s sokhoj, jedet -- pesnju pojot; Po plechu molodcu vsjo tjazhjoloje... Ne boli ty, dusha! otdokhni ot zabot! Zdravstvuj, solnce da utro vesjoloje!
