Табуном своим покинут,
Конь в воде остановился
И, как будто опрокинут,
Недвижим в ней отразился.
При заре румяный колос
Сквозь дремоту улыбался;
Лес синел. Кукушки голос
В сонной чаще раздавался.
По поляне перед нами,
Что ни шаг, цветы пестрели,
