Прекрасен мир твоей весны,
И светлы, чуждые страданий,
Твои младенческие сны.

С грозою жизни незнакома,
Как птичка, вечно весела,
Под кровлею родного дома
Ты рай земной себе нашла.

Придёт пора — прольёшь ты слёзы,
Быть может, труд тебя согнёт…
И детства радужные грёзы
Умрут под холодом забот.

Тогда, неся свой крест тяжёлый,
Не раз под бременем его
Ты вспомнишь о весне весёлой
И — не воротишь ничего.
