Dub
Language: Russian (Русский)
Ot tjomnogo lesa daljoko, Na pochve besplodno-sukhoj, Dub staryj stoit odinoko, Kak storozh pustyni glukhoj. Stoit on i smotrit ugrjumo Tuda, gde pod svodom nebes Glubokuju dumajet dumu Znakomyj davno jemu les; Gde brat'ja jego s oblakami Vedut razgovor po nocham I devy prikhodjat tolpami Kruzhit'sja po svezhim cvetam; Gde veter prokhladoju vejet I chudnye pesni pojot, I list molodoj zelenejet, I ptica na vetkakh zhivjot. A on, na ravnine peschanoj, I pyl'ju i mokhom pokryt, Kak budto izgnannik pechal'nyj, O rodine miloj grustit; Ne znajet on svezhej prokhlady, Ne vidit nebesnoj rosy I tol'ko — poslednej otrady — Gubitel'noj zhazhdet grozy.
