Du säuselnder Bach, du kräuselnder Bach, du plätscherst so fröhlich am Hügel entlang. Mit Schlürfen und Glucksen, mit Singen und Seufzen, mit Saus und Gebraus durch dein Blätterdachhaus, mit schwellendem, fröhlichen Sang. - Ach, hier will ich träumen, träumen. Du schürfender Bach, du schlürfender Bach, du schaffst dir dein Bett unterm weichen Moos. Dort träumst du sanft, vergisst dich ganz, und summst dein Lied in Freud’ und Fried’ und milderst der Sehnenden Los. - Ach, hier deiner denken, deiner denken.
