Er ej en Plet med Græs.

Kun Himmel, Hav og nøgent Land
Omgiver Hyttens Drømmeland.
Et Paradis er dog det Sted,
Thi der bor Kjærlighed!

Ej Sølv, ej Guld man finder
Der, men To, som har hinanden kjær.
Se! Kys og Smil paa Læben ler,
Og Øjet Sjælen ser.

Det tale ej det mindste Ord;
Glemt er den hele store Jord,
Med Kamp og Smerte, Fryd og Fred,
Thi her bor Kjærlighed!

Μικρή καλύβα τα κοιτά,
Και γύρω γύρω πουθενά
Χορτάρι δεν βλαστά.
 
Γιαλός, ουράνια, χέρσα γή,
Είν’ αγκαλιά ονειρική.
Παράδεισος η ερημιά,
Του έρωτα φωλιά.
 
Χρυσό κι ασήμι δεν θα βρεις,
Μόν’ δυο καρδιές χτυπάν μαζί.
Χαμόγελο, φιλί θα δεις
Και κοίταγμα ψυχής.
 
Καμιά κουβέντα δεν θα πουν,
Του κόσμου τ’ άλλα δεν ακούν,
