Wenn es wahr ist, Chloris, dass du mich liebst,
und ich höre, dass du mich aufrichtig liebst,
dann kann ich nicht glauben, dass die Könige dasselbe
Glück, gleich dem meinen, haben können.

Wie Ungelegen wäre der Tod,
wenn er kommen würde, um mein Glück
