La flor màgica de la lluna riu i, amb tendre esguard, invoca a la nostra nit tenebrosa de la terra que retorni el paradís de l’amor. Vençuts per la forta abraçada de la son, moren l’ànsia, la culpa i la pena, tan sols la tendresa i la bellesa s’envolen, alliberades, vers el rengle dels esperits. Però, mireu, els camps s’han transformat, aquesta ja no és l’antiga terra, oh mireu, un jardí ple de perfum, d’un vernís de boira i d’una llum màgica; l’esperit, lliure del llast terrenal, embolcallat amb el mantell eteri de la nostàlgia, beu, en silenciós enardiment, la plena benaurança del cel. Però el cant del rossinyol recorda al seu món el tendre cor, en tot aquest goig, el seu ressò desperta la pena més profunda, la pena d’amor.
