Voltiger sur la selle, Séduire au cours des parades Avec de belles et graciles dames, Et partir avec un « baise-main » au portail. Accompagné d'une belle dame, Se montrer à la fenêtre Et rendre un salut Au soldat qui devra nous saluer. Je donnerais un pourboire Aux balayeurs dans les fossés, Et penserais à part moi Combien triste est le sort du balayeur.
