Мне хорошо сквозь дымку полусна;
я вижу, что меня немножко любит кто-то,
что в осень дней моих врывается весна.
Приветливо глядят задумчивые глазки,
слова любви звучат в вечерней тишине.
Пуст это старые, несбыточные сказки,
мне любо слушать их в ленивом полусне.

Half asleep

 A lazy drowsiness comes over me when I close my eyes...
 it feels pleasant through the smoke of half-dreams;
 I see that someone loves me a little bit,
 and that spring is bursting into my days of autumn.
 Pensive eyes gaze welcomingly
 and words of love echo in the evening hush.
 Let this be one of those old, fantastic tales;
 I love to listen to them when I am half asleep.
