Vorwurf
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  DUT ENG FRE
Du klagst, daß bange Wehmut dich beschleicht,
weil sich der Wald entlaubt,
und über deinem Haupt dahin
der Wanderzug der Vögel streicht.
O klage nicht, bist selber wandelhaft,
denkst du der Liebesglut?
Wie nun so traurig ruht in deiner Brust
die müde Leidenschaft!

Verwijt
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the German (Deutsch)
Jij klaagt, dat bange weemoed je doortrekt,
Daar ’t bos zijn blad verliest,
En hoog boven je hoofd naar ginds
De verre vlucht der vogels trekt.

O, klaag toch niet, zelf ben je ’n vluchtend man,
Denk je van liefdesvuur?
Hoezo kan treurig slapen in jouw borst
Vermoeid de hartstocht dan!
