Onegeu brunzint, harmonies, que tornin els vells temps; que les copes plenes de ponx circulin en l’alegria d’aquesta colla! Les onades ja m’enxampen, sóc ja lluny de la costa; les estrelles llampurnegen, l’oreig xiuxiueja, i l’ànima és plena de goig! Tot el que la vida carrega a l’espatlla, resta feixuc a la riba com la boira; avança lluny, veloç nedador, vers l’alta mar de la pau. El que fa créixer el goig del nedador, és el xipolleig al seu darrere; car el segueixen els seus companys, cap d’ells vol quedar l’últim.
